The Chainsmokers, which performed a sold-out concert in August last year at MOA Arena, is returning on Sept. 13 at the same venue.
Composed of American DJs/production duo Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart, the Chainsmokers first drew attention with its 2014 song “#Selfie,” a Top 20 single in several countries.
A debut EP, “Bouquet,” was released in October 2015 and featured the single “Roses,” which cracked the Top 10 of the US Billboard Hot 100.
Another single, “Don’t Let Me Down,” made it to Billboard’s Top 5 and won Best Dance Recording at the 59th Grammy Awards.
Meanwhile, “Closer” shot to No. 1 on the same Billboard chart.
The MOA Arena concert is part of a world tour in support of its new album, “Memories… Do Not Open.”
Special guest is Nick Martin, formerly of the band Underminded and now a guitarist of Sleeping With Sirens.

Food Village across MOA Arena
And speaking of MOA Arena, it’s great to see that the ground floor of the parking building across the concert venue now has a row of restaurants called Food Village.
There are several dining or drinking options, before or after a concert, including Kanin Club, Cafe Breton, Gringo Chicken, Ribs & Friends, North Park, Cafe Mary Grace, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Via Mare, Yellow Cab, and a branch of Alfamart that serves meals.
Before Food Village, there was virtually no place to kill time before going inside MOA Arena, except for Starbucks.
A restaurant beside Starbucks, whose name was forgettable because it served lousy food, has since closed.
