Jun Regalado, one of the Philippines’ most prolific and sought-after drummers, is celebrating his 50th year in the music industry with a special concert featuring an all-star lineup of guest performers on Sept. 28, 7 p.m. at the Greenfield District, Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong.
The concert is open to the public.
Billed as “Jun Regalado: 50 Years of Drumming,” the show will feature Celeste Legaspi, Hajji Alejandro, John Lesaca, Kuh Ledesma, the Executive Band, Neocolours, Trifecta, AG Silver Big Band, members of VST, and Pilita Corrales.
Also playing are eight guest drummers: Cesar Yumping, Jun Austria, Bagets Mendez, Patrick Huit, Mar Dizon, Rannie Raymundo, and Regalado’s sons, Nino and Jun Jun.
Jun Regalado started his career as a drummer in 1967 and went on to play in countless records and concerts, including those of the aforementioned artists.
“Jun Regalado: 50 Years of Drumming” is part of Greenfield District’s “Tribute to the Masters” series.
The Greenfield District is at 1552 Shaw Boulevard (at the back of the old Edsa Central) in Mandaluyong City.
