Elevate the level of elegance of your dishes by setting them atop candlestick holders. They stand tall and proud, serving up special sweets for dinners or holding trinkets on your dressing table. This accent is the easiest to make, with the least materials needed.

We used:
A couple of old candlestick holders
2 vintage dessert plates
Glue gun

Simply apply glue to the center of the underside of the plate and attach to the top of the candlestick holder.

For a more permanent attachment, you may use stronger glue, such as Super Glue or cement glue.

Tip: Select pretty patterned plates if you have plain candlestick holders to add a little drama to the finished look.
