Dr. Strange

Can the young have an amazing, adventurous time in Singapore? The answer is a resounding yes.

The Singapore Tourism Board recently took To be You on an exclusive tour around “The Little Red Dot” to show us its newest attractions. Here is a recommended itinerary for a fun-packed day.

Kick off your day with a trip to the “Marvel Studios: Ten Years of Heroes” exhibit, ArtScience Museum in Marina Bay Sands.

Set foot in Stark Tower to see different versions of the Iron Man suit and be awed by a gigantic Iron Man figure.

Iron Man

Bend reality to create portals that open into many of Singapore’s attractions when you step inside the dimension of Doctor Strange, and dance with a digital Baby Groot who will mimic your every move.

Make sure to see all of the Infinity stones before Thanos uses them as well.

“The Marvel Studios: Ten Years of Heroes” exhibit opens at 10 a.m. daily and will run until Sept. 30.

New from Universal Studios

Surprise! The iconic T-Rex at the show Jurassic World: Roar!

Have a roaring afternoon at Universal Studios Singapore.

After lunch at JustIN Flavours of Asia, head on to Resorts World Singapore, where Universal Studios sits on a 20-hectare property that has been upgraded with exciting attractions.

The most recent addition is the “Jurassic World: Explore and Roar!” that features a Raptor Training School and a live-action show of T-Rex in conjunction with the movie “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.”

“Hatched! Featuring Dr. Rodney” is a new, permanent sight where guests can witness up close the virtual hatching of a baby velociraptor.

The classic rides still give a thrill: Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure, Lights! Camera! Action! and Transformers The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle and Revenge of the Mummy, among many others.

Running from Sept. 27 to Oct. 31 is Halloween Horror Nights 8, billed as its “most interactive haunted house” so far—featuring five haunted houses, three killer live shows and two scare zones.

Universal Studios Singapore is open 10 a.m.-8 p.m. daily and until 10 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays.

Rainforest

Rainforest Lumina

Cap your fun-filled day with a different kind of evening stroll.

Had a heavy dinner after your Universal Studios escapade? Burn those calories with a walk through Singapore Zoo’s latest attraction: the Rainforest Lumina.

This 1 kilometer-long area is where the zoo is, which guests visit in the morning to see the animals. But it transforms into a “multimedia night walk,” when the animals are tucked to sleep in their respective quarters. It’s created by award-winning multimedia entertainment studio Moment Factory.

The Creature Crew is an interactive journey across 11 zones that demonstrate how humans, animals and nature are interconnected.

Whisper, shout and sing through a microphone in the Sing Like an Animal zone and enjoy stunning visual effects and members of the Creature Crew from the jungle. Witness the beautiful visual narrative of the Creature Crew in Call of the Wild; jump for joy with the crew at Play Like an Animal; and make sure to leave with a memory that you can always look back on at the Wall of Fame.

The Rainforest Lumina is a seasonal attraction that runs 7:30-10:30 p.m. every night.
