A humpback whale calf was found tangled in shark nets off Greenmount Beach in Gold Coast, Queensland, on the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 9.

Rescuers from Sea World spent about 45 minutes removing the netting to free the young whale, as seen in the video.

The marine park said that despite its minor injuries, the calf swam away with its mother after it was released. JB
