A man from Delaware, United States may have started his 2019 on a high note after he bagged $10,000 (around P522,000) in the local lottery.

The unidentified man told Delaware lottery officials that he purchased ten Grand Instant game tickets at a store in the town of Smyrna. Little did he know that one of these tickets would lead him to win the jackpot.

“I had to run out to my truck to get my glasses,” he said, recalling the moment he won. “I was in disbelief.”

This was not the first time he got lucky, as he actually ended 2018 with a $2,900 (around P151,000) win.

When asked what he plans to do with his winnings, he said he wants to surprise his niece with concert tickets for her and a friend. He also plans to use it for a trip with his sister and mom, as well as to have his ex-wife’s car get serviced. JB
