MANILA, Philippines — Vietnam’s Le Au Ngan Anh seemed to have caught the attention of many netizens as she supposedly channeled Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray at the recently concluded Miss Intercontinental pageant.

Miss Vietnam, who was named Miss Intercontinental 2018 fourth runner-up, was accused of imitating Gray’s signature Mayon Volcano-inspired Mak Tumang gown as well as the Miss Universe 2018’s iconic lava walk.

Some Twitter users posted side-by-side videos of the two beauty queens’ evening gown walk to compare and see the similarities.

Netizens also noticed how Miss Vietnam fixed her side-swept hair just like what Gray did at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant in Bangkok, Thailand last December.

While some criticized Miss Vietnam for allegedly copying the Filipina beauty, there were also netizens who said she just got inspiration from Gray.
