I will try my luck with pulling off a neon outfit. I’ve always been a neutral girl so a pop of neon would be a breath of fresh air.

For clothes, I’m such a fan of pants so I like to wear more boiler suits. They’re a one-piece wonder. You can wear them with turtleneck and booties or just sneakers.

Another is the scarf-print trend. It looks chic, and it has that vintage feel. Sunset shades for clothes also.

For shoes, slingbacks, statement sneakers and snake-print booties. For accessories, I’m such a fan of hair clips and headbands. For bags, small, boxy top handle styles in different shapes.

Tailored suits in beige. It’s all about feminine confidence and empowerment in a subdued way. The different iterations of nudes in clean lines and three-piece sets are just so delectable.

Also, I am in love with the ballerina-inspired Dior silhouettes. The shoes are just calling out my name!

I have always loved lace. But the inclusion of lace in the more street/athleisure pieces like those of Alexander Wang and Victoria Beckham’s makes me want to wear lace even more.

I love the return of the ’80s chains in layers—for belts and neckpieces (so iconic Chanel).

I welcome with open arms the return of bows, too! The clips for the hair or the bows on headbands like in Prada are so girly-girl and I am all about that.

Maybe feathers. I’ve always wanted an excuse to wear a dressy outfit with feathers. And for something more casual, I’d like to try an all-neutral outfit—probably beige from head to toe.

Weirdly enough, it’s the ugly sneakers trend, though I haven’t gotten around to actually buying a pair. Also the highlighter trend, the all-neon outfit. But again, might be too young for me.

Out of all the trends this 2019, utility dressing interests me the most. I’m all about comfort and functionality. And I think with the right accessories, it can look very chic!

I really liked the khaki, earth-colored looks that were on the runways for SS19. Tom Ford, Chloe, Marni, Burberry, Max Mara all featured earth tones. I find them very wearable and chic, a complement to the pieces I already have in my wardrobe. Another trend that I noticed a lot of was polka dots. I liked the more muted versions of this, done in neutral colors with small dots like the ones at Carolina Herrera, Jacquemus and Burberry.

A fashion trend that I would like to try is the revived vintage beaded bag. I think it’s a fun accessory as well as a throwback to my childhood bag from some 20 years ago.

As I’m usually dressed in neutral hues and veer away from anything too playful, I wouldn’t mind trying my luck with color-blocking and a dainty mishmash of patterns to see how I can incorporate them with the rest of my wardrobe staples. For accessories, perhaps a neon minaudière or shoes would add an exotic touch to my usual pared-down look. —CHECHE V. MORAL
