Get your appetite ready because it’s a Southern Showdown at TGI Fridays everyday starting this month! They’re dishes that smack of flavors from the American South and they’re hearty and packed with flavor!

TGI Fridays brings every foodie bunch an ALL-NEW Southern Showdown selection!  Bring your family and friends for a food face-off when you order the Southern Platter (P1,895 and very good for sharing!) made up with the meaty goodness of Cajun chicken, country ribs, grilled Andouille and indulgent serving of sides of mac & cheese, mango chipotle coleslaw, mashed potatoes, garlic rice and buttered baguette. Meat lovers will surely have a new favourite with this platter and will have fun challenging each other on who can eat the most!

Here’s another dish unlike anything you’ve tasted from the brand before…  introducing the BBQ Pork Shank (P995). Pork is a main component of Southern cuisine and this one is no different.  An order will bring you fall-off-the-bone meat with Texan BBQ sauce, mac n cheese and mango chipotle coleslaw. You can request this from your friendly server as this is available in select branches only. For those who ‘sea’ food with hungry eyes, the Nola Steamed Mussels (P495) is a choice for those who want to relax with a glass of white wine or fresh hand-pressed juice. TGI Fridays’ steamed mussels are made even better with Andouille, tomatoes, Cajun and buttered baguette. One can also continue the Southern journey with a serving of Roasted Cod (P550) with cannellini, edamame, sausage and panko crust.

Finally, finish off the food showdown with a unique take on the S’mores Brownie (P245) made with Kahlua cream sauce, torched marshmallows, fudge brownie and chocolate ganache, or for adults and kids alike, you might want to treat yourself to the Sarsaparilla Float (P145)!
