Janine Tugonon has hit another milestone in her modeling career for an activewear line by no less than Venus Williams.

Williams has won multiple Grand Slam titles alongside her sister Serena Williams and has worked towards gender equality with the Women’s Tennis Association.

Tugonon celebrated the moment she posed with the tennis superstar in a photoshoot for Williams’ line, Eleven by Venus, on Instagram Wednesday, March 13.

“Got to shoot with a LEGEND @venuswilliams!!” she recalled. “Such a memorable shoot for me, went home that day very inspired and empowered!”

Filipino-Canadian actress Aida King asked in the comments, “Was she nice?”

“VERY!” The Miss Universe 2012 1st runner-up replied.

Tugonon’s work for the clothing line has been featured since February this year on the brand’s Instagram.

Tugnonon, a University of Santo Tomas graduate, is also the first ever Filipino model for the lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret. The beauty queen has been pursuing her modeling career in New York. JB
