Discover: Brands that create wearable art | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

Colombian brand Toque de Luna is committed to the quality of life of those living in extreme poverty in Colombia by creating pieces made of discarded materials (such as aluminum tabs on soda cans) through the teamwork of “vulnerable populations, artisans, and people deprived of liberty.”

Founded by designer Luna González, Toque de Luna started with swimsuits before including bags in its lineup of highly covetable wares.

As their website reads, “From our universe you can only find human beings full of light, full of magic and, above all, a lot of art.” Check out some of their amazing designs below:

From tropical bags to fruit-inspired accessories, here’s another brand that makes a statement. LA-based brand Kikay believes that “being extra shouldn’t cost you extra.” Turning the ordinary into unique pieces, Kikay’s offerings include eye-catching earrings like cherries, lemons, and soda bottles that have that irresistible touch of whimsy. Here, we’ve chosen some distinct pieces that are not only affordable but also just as bold as you are!
