So you’ve finally ticked off your Christmas gift list, wrapped them up, and labelled them neatly. But did you know your presence just might be the best present you can give your loved ones this season? 

Mobile services provider Smart Communications makes this timely reminder in a new heart-tugging online video. 

The 90-second ad shows a young lady peeking into huge windows, as if to check how her friends are celebrating the season. 

The scene then cuts away to reveal that she’s actually busy scrolling on an app – immersed in her friends’ social media updates but oblivious to her own family’s Christmas gathering. 

Realizing that she’s missing out on a lot of precious moments, she finally decides to take a break from her phone, and simply enjoy the company of her loved ones. 

“Too busy enjoying other people’s Christmas? Let your presence be your Christmas present,” the video concludes.

It’s an important reminder that the best gifts in life can hardly be wrapped in specialty shops and department stores.
