Dear future society,

I hope you’re still doing well

I hope you’re still that place that is beautiful to dwell in.

What a beautiful place it would be

if a community feels like home

That no matter where I go I won’t feel alone.

What a beautiful place it would be

knowing that I may not be living in a perfect community

but a great one that has unity.

Where there are hands reaching out, warm welcomes and smiles despite the mess.

It’s a dark world out there, yes it is

but my hope is in my community

it is where I’ll find peace.

Look around and you’ll stumble,

with what’s happening to our world, we are really in trouble

but it will not end there not as what it may seem

have vision and believe so that it may be seen

the beauty of the world that we thought we lost

we just need to bring it back despite the cost

I believe and trust my community

and I hope you do too

Before it’s too late and make decisions alone that we can’t undo

High up above my community is guided by my Creator

We fear no one knowing that He’s greater.
