Gather empty bottles and jars along with some foliage and blooms from your garden or the market and you’re set.

Wash and dry your bottles well so they shine.

Trim the ends of your leaves and flowers to your desired height. They may be lower than eye level so as not to block view and conversation with the person across the table. Arrange the bottles in the center of the table randomly.

Tip: A variety of bottles or jars makes for a more interesting tableau. You can jazz it up even more with a colorful collection of drinking glasses.
