An artist likes having an audience.

It’s a different feeling to hold an exhibit. There are many people who come, there’s interaction, it’s something to look forward to, you miss it when it’s over.

Being by yourself is not too much fun, but you’re more productive. You become more creative. You’re able to focus more.

To shoot a film, you need people around you, so that’s out. Visual arts, you can do even if you’re all alone.

Now that I’m just at home, I’m able to do more work, drawing and painting. Most of what I’m doing now are just studies. I can do them quickly. I finish them in a day. —Eric S. Caruncho
