As promised yesterday on her Instagram, Jess Connelly released the music video for her song “Lock” this Tuesday afternoon.
Carrying Jess’ signature tunes perfect for a hot day, the video vibes with our current isolation status. I have a feeling we’ll be lipsynching to this song and recreating some of the sequences for social media.
“Lock” is a love anthem. Jess’s persona in the song assures her paramour of her affection. “I can only speak on the truth/If you want it you should find me just to see what it do/You got me on lock.”
It’s the third track from Jess’ EP entitled “ATM,” released last October.
The video is directed by David Camarena. He is a photographer, videographer, and editor based in Los Angeles. Previous works include Ty Dolla $ign’s “Hottest in the City”, Kyle’s “To The Moon” and “Party Bus” by Rich The Kid, Jay Critch, and Famous Dex.
