TREND REPORT: Always looking forward to better days | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

When talking about change, we may forget about the good stuff. Saying good-bye to what we’re used to isn’t something that feels comfortable always. But think about it: Our present happiness is brought about by a transition from the past.

It’s all about learning to adapt because change will happen no matter what you do. I thought about this as I learned more about the new stuff in store when it comes to fashion and beauty.

Clarins Total Eye Lift

Clarins recently launched its newest product: Total Eye Lift. The product promises effects that you can see in 60 seconds. Yes! Be ready for it. The serum carries a formula sourced from 94 percent natural origins. The star ingredients are cassie wax and organic harungana extract.

The former lifts the eye area while also comforting the eye contour, while the latter acts as effectively as retinol but is gentle to the skin. You will lessen wrinkles and also protect your eye area from light damage: including the rays from your laptops and phones.

The serum is also unique since you are encouraged to massage it and make eye care a relaxing experience. Press the product gently under your eyes to temples, repeat on the upper part of eyes, eyelids, and between eyebrows—end by brushing index finger over lashes.

Onward to 2021

Tod’s presents its SS 2021 men’s and women’s collection all about returning to what is simple but truly luxurious.

Notes from the collection include: “At the head of the T Factory, Tod’s Creative Director Walter Chiapponi works on the brand’s lifestyle, interpreting a collection that is both eccentric and spontaneous, always personal and definitely made by humans. While clothing is made up of archetypal garments, accessories highlight the Tod’s know-how, the excellence of the craft and workmanship, which goes into making the most intricate details and handmade elements.”

The collection boasts of safari jackets, liquid duster jackets, patchwork leather blousons, pleated trousers, and long shirts for her. Accessories include gommino sandals, boots in canvass, and the archive T Timeless on loafers and bags with a geometric profile. Shoppers are made with minimal cuts of leather; the bucket bags are made of calf. The soft deconstructed bags are made by folding large pieces of fine leather.

For him, it focuses on the urban traveler with field jackets, in drill or washed suede. There’s also the polo shirt, the shirt with patch pockets, soft pullovers, and loose trousers.

All about accessories

Bvlgari shows off its 2020 Accessories Collection. It’s dedicated to timeless pieces you can wear with playful sophistication. In this way, you can change up your look without letting go of what you’re comfortable with. It’s about having something different but still true to who you are.

Their presentation focused on the words “multifaceted, magnificent, and maximized.”

Malachi, mother of pearl, black onyx, and the brand’s signature B.zero1, are just some of the things that encourage that elegant sparkle to a black dress or even something to elevate your casualwear.

If you want to make a statement, there’s the tone on tone trend that Bvlgari complements with their pieces. Playing on one color in different tones from clothes to your shoes to your jewelry and your bag is just the thing to do. (I know I did it!)

Notable in the presentation is Bvlgari’s Serpenti Collection. Look for the snakehead used as a clasp on device cases, pochettes,  and crossbody bags made in many textures and colors. It’s for the woman for the go, especially with the crossbody bags that can be worn in many ways from day to night.
