Actress and yoga enthusiast Jana Victoria is happy for being able to reach her yoga goals despite a short break from the practice.
She spoke about her current yoga training as she showed fans her attempts at doing poses, via Instagram yesterday, Oct. 6.
“Happy to reconnect with my mat after a month and I was surprised of my transition today,” she said.
Victoria, after two months of practicing the crow pose, finally reached one of her goals of doing the crow pose to chaturanga for the first time.
“It’s not a perfect posture but when you’re able to do this, not only will you get satisfaction from those moments when you get into a big pose, but you’ll also enjoy the quality of your practice as a whole,” she said, noting that “this is a transition that can be extremely mental.”

“The first time was really frustrating, but it takes hard work, commitment, patience, discipline, effort, practice and practice everyday,” she revealed.
One of the benefits of doing yoga, according to Victoria, is that it shows how stronger she has become.
“It continues to remind me how it’s possible to continue to build strength. How it’s possible to keep surprising myself. How the things that I thought were genuinely impossible are in fact possible. Physically and mentally. Both on and off mat,” Victoria explained.
“Know that you are STRONG. You are strong because you are FIGHTING,” she told fans. “Every set back, fall and fail just brings us back even stronger, and in time you will get there.” JB
