Acclaimed filmmaker and writer Jose Javier “Joey” Reyes invites film lovers, enthusiasts and students to the opening session of Benilde Film Talks on digital content in the “new normal,” Oct. 14, 2 p.m.

Titled “Digital Productions in the New Normal,” the panel discussion delves on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the film, television, creative and digital industries today, such as the norms and protocols of production amid the quarantine period and how these sudden shifts shape content.

Guest speakers include members of the Inter-Guild Alliance and the Philippine Motion Picture Producers Association: producer Perci Intalan, director Paolo Villaluna, line producer Patti Lapus, production designer Ben Padero, cinematographer Mackie Galvez, editor Ben Tolentino and assistant director Mara Marasigan.

Reyes, chair of the Digital Filmmaking Program of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, will be assisted by fellow educator and Unitel Production and Straightshooters Media Inc. CEO and president Madonna Tarrayo.
