Oman sultan confers award to Filipino honorary consul | Lifestyle.INQ

His Majesty Sultan Haithem Bin Tariq of Oman conferred last December on Oman Honorary Consul Leonardo de Ocampo the Order of A’Noman, the highest diplomatic award the Sultanate can confer on a non-Omani citizen.

According to the official Oman News Agency, De Ocampo was granted the award in appreciation of his effort and contribution in serving the relationship between the Sultanate and the Philippines.

The award was conferred to De Ocampo by Oman Ambassador Munther Bin Mahfoudh Al Mantheri at the Embassy of Oman in Bonifacio Global City.
