At 39, a lot has changed for actress and mom of three Isabel Oli. That includes her perspective in life and her need to be healthy for her children.
Oli acknowledged that she’s learned a lot through the years as per her Instagram post yesterday, Feb. 2.
“Parang kelan lang I remember celebrating my 18th birthday,” she mused. (It feels like I just celebrated my 18th birthday.)
“Things have changed a lot since then, but as I gain in years, I noticed I learned a lot in life too. I have learned to be more patient, more considerate and sensitive with people around me. My relationship with my Creator has deepened, and it helped me develop a more positive outlook in life,” she said.
Now, she has become more health-conscious and has grown to value her physical fitness.
“As a mom of three, nakikita ko ang halaga kung bakit kailangan kong alagaan ang sarili ko,” she said. (As a mom of three, I see the importance in taking care of myself.)
“I have two active kids in the house and an infant, and they surely can drain my stamina and strength. So to keep up with them at para mabigay ko ang 100% na pag-aalaga sa kanila (and for me to give my 100% in caring for them), I need to stay healthy,” she explained.
In keeping herself fit, Oli shares she has to have a healthy lifestyle which is why she follows a routine every day.
“Kaya, I do work out 5x a week, eat a well-balanced diet, drink tons of water,” she said, noting that she does not fail to drink her favorite milk as it gives her her a daily dose of “calcium and minerals.”
Married to actor John Prats, Oli has three children with him namely Lilly Feather, Daniel Freedom and Lilla Forest, whom they welcomed just last July. NVG
