Megastar Sharon Cuneta, who apparently has been ill recently, received food and some tender loving care from her best friend and fellow actress Judy Ann Santos.

Cuneta said Santos cooked food for her and sent her some of her favorite dishes, as per her Instagram post yesterday, April 20, where she showed some photos of the food.

Among the food Santos sent Cuneta were chicken curry, champorado and arroz caldo.

“Hindi po nya binebenta ito. Pero ilang araw na ako pinagluluto ng kapatid kong si Juday @officialjuday para daw lumakas at gumaling ako agad!” Cuneta said.

(She’s not selling this. But for several days now, my sister Juday has been cooking for me just so I could regain my strength and be healed.)

Cuneta singled out her favorite chicken curry which Santos cooked so well, she said. Santos also texted Cuneta from time to time.

“Nung isang araw magkafacetime kami. Iba si Juday sa puso at buhay ko. Hanggang kabilang buhay magkasama at magdadamayan kami,” Cuneta said. (The other day, we were on FaceTime. Juday is special in my heart and life. Even in the afterlife, we will be together and will take care of each other.)

“I love you with all my heart, sis. Thank you so much for taking good care of me,” she added.

Santos responded to Cuneta’s post, saying, “Feel better soon my ate… basta kumain ka lang (just eat). I’ll take care of you kahit hanggang sa pagkain lang muna (even if only with food for now), just promise me that you will take care of yourself as well… [I] love you ate… [I’m] just here no matter what.”
