Belle Mariano initially caved in to her fears when she witnessed the shutdown of ABS-CBN last year, after it was denied renewal of its franchise by Congress.

“Of course, when I found out na nawala ‘yung ABS-CBN, I felt sad. Natakot din po ako. I don’t think this applies [only] to me. I think it applies [to] everyone. Natakot ako if hindi matuloy ‘yung “He’s Into Her.” What if hindi matuloy ‘yung mga nakalatag na projects?” Mariano said during the online press conference for the series last Monday, July 26.

(Of course, when I found out that [we lost] ABS-CBN, I felt sad. I was scared. I don’t think this applies [only] to me. It applies [to] everyone. I was afraid “He’s Into Her” might not push through. What if projects we already planned don’t push through?)

But eventually, Mariano remained hopeful and chose to trust that someday, ABS-CBN will be back on air.

“Kapamilya tayo (We are Kapamilya). We’re here. We’re all hoping and waiting na mabalik ang ABS-CBN (for ABS-CBN to return),” the actress stressed.

Meanwhile, “He’s Into Her” will be showing its finale on iWantTFC this Friday (July 29) and on the Kapamilya Channel and A2Z this Sunday (July 31). In the finale, the competition between Deib (Donny Pangilinan) and RJ (Jeremiah Lisbo) becomes even fiercer as they clash at the basketball championship between their schools while trying to win Max’s (Belle Mariano) heart.

When asked what she will miss from the experience of doing this project, Mariano said it would have to be the bonding and the cast, the go-see, the look test and their script analysis.

“Sobrang mami-miss ko lang ‘yung days na nasa shoot kami, naka-lock in kami in one place na parang high school lang kami lahat,” she said.

(I will just really miss our days of shooting, where we are all in one place and locked-in, like we are still in high school.) JB
