PBB alum Kobie Brown learns about the value of time in his first TV series

In the TV series “Saying Goodbye,” newcomer Kobie Brown plays the role of Vic, the best friend of Ricky who is Seth Fedelin’s character. Since this is Brown’s first TV series, he obviously is learning a lot from the experience.

“Vic is very awkward. He’s new in Pampanga. He lives life to the fullest. He has a heart disease,” Brown said during the Nov. 23 launch of the series, which coincides with the launch of the partnership between iQiyi and ABS-CBN. “Saying Goodbye” also stars Andrea Brillantes and Andi Abaya, and is premiering on Dec. 4 on iQiy at 8 p.m.

As his character faces death, Brown, realized how important time really is.

“Spend as much time as you can with not just a girlfriend or a boyfriend but your family as well. Love your family. Love your friends, your mom, your dad, your siblings. Spend most time as you can with them because you’ll never know when one day you might not have that time,” Brown stressed.

The former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate also learned to be always prepared while on set. He wanted to do his best though it is just his first project. He took hold of himself to not be too nervous.

“When I was there in the set, it just flowed perfectly. At first, I was looking around everywhere. I didn’t know what to do. Then, everyone made me feel very comfortable. The staff were very helpful. The other artists were helpful to me,” he said.

Doing the series helped Brown mature fast as well, because the experience had him thinking about a lot of things. He avoided distractions and learned how to focus on his lines and performance..

For Brown, being paired with fellow PBB housemate Abaya was also a blessing.

“As a pair, I think we’ve matured together. Like what I said before, I learned so much from Andi. When we have free time, we practice with each other. She would really help me when it comes to delivering my lines. She tells me, ‘this is what I think you should do,’” he said. “She would help me how to execute the scene properly. It made us even more comfortable with each other.” JB
