Actor Ronnie Alonte’s Valentine’s Day plan includes bringing with him and girlfriend Loisa Andalio their 13 fur babies to a getaway.
Alonte was asked about his V-Day plans during the online press conference for the ABS-CBN miniseries “The Goodbye Girl” yesterday, Feb. 1.
“Sa ngayon po siguro, after ng lock-in namin for “Love In 40 Days,” after nitong first cyle namin, saktong pa-Valentine’s Day na ‘yun. Pinaplano namin na isama ‘yung mga dogs, magbi-beach kami. May 13 fur babies kami,” Alonte said.
(Probably now, after our lock-in taping for “Love In 40 Days,” after our first cycle, it’s exactly going to Valentine’s Day. We plan to bring our dogs in a trip, we will go to the beach. We have 13 fur babies.)
For Alonte, it is always important to celebrate Valentine’s Day, especially considering the kind of relationship he has with Andalio.
“Ang tagal na namin, eh. Hindi naman sobrang tagal pero ang haba ng pinagsamahan naming dalawa. Nandoon na kami sa punto na parang magkaibigan kami talaga. Kilalang-kilala na niya ako, kilalang-kilala ko na siya,” he said.
(We have been together for so long. It has not been that long but we have been together for quite a while. We are already at a point where we really are like friends. She knows me very well and I know her very well.)
Alonte also thinks that since it’s only once a year, all the more should Valentine’s be celebrated. He also considers it a treat for himself and his girlfriend, a time when they can go out as a couple.
Being already five years in their relationship, Alonte was asked about the secret of their romance.
Alonte credits their relationship to their being strong as a couple.
“Kailangan kasi ay naiintindihan n’yo ang isa’t isa, nagbibigayan kayo. Iba kapag nagkakaintindihan kayo. Kailangan sinasabi ninyo ang nararamdaman ninyo sa isa’t isa,” he said.
