The mid-agenda is here, and Stüssy is all for it. The streetwear brand just announced its latest collaborative shoe with Nike the way it knows how: powerful, albeit intentionally vague imagery. According to Stüssy, the release is pretty much around the corner, aiming for a May 13 release date.

Stacked co-branded Stüssy and Nike branding as well as some snakeskin detailing on the Swoosh, adorn the Mid silhouette. According to reports, the Stüssy x Nike Air Force 1 is set to be released in at least two colorways, as well as a hemp-covered installment that’s been rendered in other styles in the recent past. The release comes just in time for Nike’s 40th anniversary of the Air Force 1 silhouette this year.

There’s a sense of familiarity that doesn’t open up much expectation when it comes to the collaborations between the sportswear giant and the So-Cal imprint, but this release isn’t a let down by any means. While the Mid silhouette is arguably not as popular as its High and Low counterparts, Nike has been hard at work pushing the Mid out through hyped releases such as this upcoming Stüssy collab that has spilled over to “better” general releases as well.
