Swedish eyewear label Sun Buddies announces a collaboration with retail concept Our Legacy Workshop in a collaborative capsule dubbed “Work Buddies”. Presented in a series of vague yet interesting teaser videos, the two brands appear to be releasing a round of co-branded unisex frames.
This isn’t the first time the two brands have worked together in some capacity: Très Bien, the retailer behind Sun Buddies, has collaborated with Our Legacy on their own label WELCOME. The debut campaign of Sun Buddies was also lensed by Our Legacy art director Tony Cederteg. The two brands also share a vision of menswear: subdued in its coolness, underpinned by high-quality design and construction.
Both brands have enjoyed a significant amount of success in the past few years. Sun Buddies has released collaborations with the likes of Dover Street Market, Opening Ceremony, Carhartt WIP, to name a few, while Our Legacy has been stocked in menswear retailers worldwide, including the likes of Commonwealth Philippines. Both brands have also separately released collaborations with California-based streetwear brand Stüssy.
The “Work Buddies” capsule is set to be released on June 3rd, with a pre-release event at Très Bien London June 1st.
