Fifteen artists from Taytay, Rizal, showcase some of their latest works that encompass different artistic styles from portraits, surrealism, impressionism and abstractionism, in ARTablado’s latest exhibit “Balintataw,” at Robinsons Place Antipolo until July 31.
“Balintataw” means imagination and there is abundance of it in this exhibition that brings forward into the limelight the ability of the artists to express their creative genius whether in drawing, painting, sculptureand all the other medium afforded to them. It is the collective hope by the members of Tropang Pintor ng Taytay, that through the visual imagery they present, their messages and stories jump from the canvas and into their viewers’ consciousness.
The show features work by Linda Ang, Chino del Pilar, Fernando Jovellano, Ana Lacampuenga-Pellejera, Reggie Lim, Jerel Limayo, Joji Limayo, Ronald Limayo, Gerry Marasigan, Jonalyn Villar-Montero, Victor Olaño, John Perry Pellejera, Butch Reyes, James Sanorjo Jr. and Ponciano Zapanta.
“Balintataw” is part of Robinsons Land ARTablado’s continuing support for Filipino artists by providing them a second home at Robinsons Place Antipolo.
