My unrealistic Christmas list if I was a reality show starlet | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

With Christmas only a couple of days away, our tree is slowly piling up with presents. And while the holidays are all about spending time with your loved ones, there’s no denying that receiving gifts is one of the most exciting parts of the holidays. I mean who wouldn’t get excited over an orange box?

When I was younger I used to write down my wishlist for Santa and my parents. Come Christmas time, my gifts would fill up a three-seater couch and I would take all night unwrapping my presents. This is definitely one of the perks of being an only child. However, as I grew older my list became shorter and presents came in tinier boxes. I guess with age, you come to realize that there are other things that you want during the holidays like getting rest or catching up with your loved ones

I did, however, think to write a detailed note this year. Except on this list, I fantasize about all the ways I wish my list can go differently than the way it usually does– reality show starlet style. Wishful thinking one might say. I just ask myself “WWPHW–What would Paris Hilton Want? and rounded the most ridiculous list filled with outrageous and over-the-top products I actually would love to have if I was an heiress.

Some bling bling

They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend and they are absolutely right about that. Anything that sparkles always catches my eye and since I’m writing a no-limit wishlist, diamonds are at the top of my list. Preferably an 18k White Gold 18-carat Diamond Tennis Necklace from Tiffany’s which I plan to wear as my daily accessory because why not? We are dreaming big after all. I can already imagine all the great places I can wear it to–the beach, the grocery, or even when lounging at home. It’s the perfect casual piece if I was swimming in money that is. Get it for a whopping price of $66,000 dollars or PHP 3,663,363.00 from Tiffany’s.com.

A one-of-a-kind bag

Since we’re already talking about outfits, what ensemble is complete without the perfect bag? And if I was a starlet I’d probably go for something people would notice. Think unique, noticeable, a definite standout piece! I’m thinking of an exotic skin Hermès handbag. These are highly coveted and while they might not exactly be vegan friendly, these exotic leathers are way too exquisite to pass up. I’d love to get my hands on a Hermès Birkin 25 Himalaya Niloticus Crocodile with diamond Encrusted Hardware but I’m keeping it realistic and settling for a Hermès Birkin 25 Fuchsia Ostrich with palladium hardware instead. This bag goes for about $54,775 or over PHP 3,000,000 and can be bought from 1stdibs.com.

An impractical flashy vehicle

A diamond-covered Tesla Model X. Flashy and incredibly extra? Yes. Impractical? I say not. At Least it’s an electrical right. Forget about the fact that it’s not exactly ideal for the Philippines. Imagine driving around the city, sitting in traffic, only to find your battery is about to run out without a single charging station in sight. What a nightmare. But we’ll cross the bridge when we get there. Everything seems to work out in reality shows anyway. The car retails for $142,160 or PHP 7,890,661.88 without the added mods.

A designer dog

Who is Paris Hilton without her pet chihuahua? Tinkerbell is Paris’ best friend and definitely her best accessory. And if I were to choose one for myself I would love to get a giant poodle, also sometimes known as a royal poodle (perfect for TV royalty). These dogs are the perfect accessory to go on a walk with. Their amazingly fluffy coat will look even better when paired with the Prada Crystal-studded satin pet collar and leash.

An expensive vacation

Since the year is ending and I’ve spent it working so much, I would love to go on a much-needed vacation. Eat, pray, love except in my version it’s going to be a three-month-long trip. First to Italy to eat, just like Julia Roberts but making it my mission to try every single Michelin restaurant in the country. Then Bali to visit the Bvlgari Resort for some peace and quiet but designer. I say this is the best way to find yourself! Then last stop– Paris, because there’s no other place better to shop other than the city of lights.
