It’s 2023, and what better way is there to start the new year than by decluttering?
News anchor Bernadette Sembrano shared that she recently just did a Marie Kondo and took out some items that were no longer “sparking joy” in what she called her “place of sanity” — her home.
Sembrano posted on Instagram three pictures of a shelf that she had just cleared, saying that she is just starting with one “corner” before going full steam in their plans for a bigger house.
“Oh how much easier it is to think more clearly when you’ve decluttered. Here is my little corner, my place of sanity in our flat.
“Our condo is my training ground of finding peace amidst the chaos. Starting with one corner, one nook at time!” she added.
Since she’s read most of her books, Sembrano wants to share it with her IG followers.
“Anyone interested in old books ? Let me know. One person’s trash is another person’s gem,” she said.
The TV personality also said that she has bought a few items that she wanted to display in their shared space someday when they have a bigger house.
“Truth to tell, my husband and I have not agreed yet on how to use our limited common space. Long story. But I won’t wait for that bigger house to happen. Will work on my corner, as it should be. Starting my someday today,” she wrote. EDV
