Time is of the essence for actress Dimples Romana, such that she wants to slow it down to spend more quality moments with her children.
This, Romana wants her son Alonzo to realize as she recounts the “moments that truly matter to my heart,” which is better depicted in her Instagram post on April 4, in which she showed a short video of their mom-son bonding while in the airport.
“Darling if you don’t mind, let’s just slow down time and let me adore you,” she said in her caption, obviously referring to her son Alonzo.
“I am a moment maker,” the star of “The Iron Heart” declared. “I actually feel like it’s one of my most treasured, purest gifts. I make minute, simple, mundane moments last a lifetime. I think this is also the reason why even when I’m hardly home and Boyet has been doing amazing with the kids at home, the kids still have remained very close and sweet to me too,” she said.
She then gave an unsolicited advice to parents like her.
“For parents, always remember that it is not in how much time you spend with your children but how much of yourself you give to be present in those moments that you spend with them that truly counts. It can be 30 seconds or maybe just 5 minutes, won’t matter however short the moments are, as long you make the feelings last, it’ll always, always count,” she said.

She explained why she had this kind of feeling, saying, “When you’ve been working since you were 12 and never really had the chance and choice to stop and have moments like these, when you finally get to afford the luxury of taking pauses as such, you become even more grateful…because no matter how simple and mundane the moment may seem, it will always take your breath away.”
