This was her first live musical performance in over seven years since departing the music industry. Discussing the rationale behind the decision to focus on a career in acting, she shared with fellow Spider-Man: No Way Home cast member Andrew Garfield in Variety’s Actors on Actors: “It’s because as an actor, there’s a level of anonymity that I get to have, which I really like. And I get to sort my stuff, whatever that is, through a character and nobody needs to know about it. Whereas in other forms and other mediums, it’s all you all the time.” Essentially, it’s the desire for a certain level of privacy and boundaries, as much as stardom allows.
The new Louis Vuitton ambassador also took to Instagram to share her love and gratitude for those that supported her.
“Thank you to my brother @labrinth for inviting me and giving me the most beautiful safe space to be on a stage again. And to the crowd tonight … Wow. My heart is full, I can’t thank you enough for the love I received tonight, [it] made my nerves melt away. I’m so grateful.”
