Soon-to-be mom of two Rihanna drops a Savage x Fenty maternity collection aptly called “Savage X Maternity,” focusing on lingerie and loungewear, ‘for moms and moms-to-be’.
The style icon and business mogul has always been highly fashion-forward with her pregnancy style, so her brand dabbling into the world of maternity wear doesn’t come as a surprise. The new maternity capsule is about bringing that confidence and comfort to moms at every stage of their journeys,” says Rihanna. “I want to remind people that you can still channel sexiness and feel good while being a parent.”
As a strong advocate for expecting moms to maintain their confidence and fashion sense even while pregnant, Rihanna has personally designed a fresh capsule collection, comprising three distinct bralette styles– unlike those boring generic ones, and an oversized logo tee, that cheekily reads: “Make More Babies.”
Taking cues from the brand’s most popular designs, the trio of bralettes draws inspiration and comes in diverse color options. All three styles have been meticulously crafted with the comfort of new and expecting mothers in mind. They incorporate features like one-hand functionality, a comprehensive nursing sling with an opening from neckline to underarm, adjustable front-facing straps, and a set of nursing clasps. Additionally, the back closure boasts a fourth row, allowing for easy adjustments to accommodate changing body shapes throughout pregnancy.
The available sizes for this release span from XXS to 4X, with prices varying between $35 and $60.
