With great pride, “The Iron Heart” actress Dimples Romana shared her daughter Callie’s performance in a series of aviation tests which she passed with flying colors.
In an Instagram post yesterday, Aug. 12, Romana showed a screenshot of her conversation with her daughter.
“What a GAL this Captain of ours @callieahmee. We did good on this one Ta @papaboyetonline even when we thought there’s nothing we’re doing right as parents. This @callieahmee of ours keeps making us look like cool parents,” she said in her post.
With Callie’s passing of all her exams, Romana said that “as of today, ALL CPL (Commercial Pilot’s License) Theory exams PASSED” and that “now down to flight hours na lang and final flight tests and she’s about to get her wings and license na din to fly commercial planes.”
For her, going through the journey of “distant parenting” is such a challenge and all they had to do is to make a “leap of faith.”
“How great is our God to say we have been struggling to get used to this distant parenting and putting Callie to Aviation school in a different country where we have no family, only good friends who have turned into family would be an absolute understatement. Mahirap na nga maging magulang (It’s difficult to be parents). Di pa pinadadali ng layo at pagkakataon (It’s not made easy by the distance and the chance) but in all things WE TRUST. And we TAKE LEAPS of FAITH,” she said.

Romana promised that she and her husband Boyet would always support their daughter.
“Your heart Capt @callieahmee has proven time and time again that you my child, have what it takes to not only be successful but more importantly HAPPY. I hope you know ate that no matter what happens, however difficult circumstances may become, that Dad and I will always cheer you on in everything. And that days may seem to get tougher and tougher and we’d feel tired and challenged day by day, but our hearts as a family have been tested for a little over 2 decades now and one thing we can be certain of – na mapapagod man ang ating katawan Pero ang puso ng pamilya kailanman ay Di marunong mag inda ng pagod at pangamba. (that our body may be tired, but the heart of the family will never complain of tiredness and fear). At Kahit gaano ka man kalayo anak, ang pagmamahal namin ay patuloy na babalutin ka na parang mainit na yakap at masarap na paglalambing forever, lagi lagi. (And no matter how distant you are, my daughter, our love will cover you like warm hugs and love-filled sweetness forever, always. Wala kang choice.
