Creator of no. 1 kojic acid soap launches two new groundbreaking beauty products

Kojie.san introduced the first soap to contain kojic acid in the Philippines. And since then, it has evolved into a global brand trusted by customers around the world. Now, it continues to tread the path of innovation with two new products—the Tinted Sunscreen and Super Serum.
The two groundbreaking products were launched in an exciting event at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City on Sept. 23, where beauty experts and aficionados got to try them out for themselves. Kojie.san senior brand manager Kelcey Chua also shared the science behind the benefits of using them.
“As one of the top beauty brands in the country, Kojie.san is always finding new ways to innovate. After listening to your needs and taking to heart your aspirations, with the power of science, we’ve created the kojic acid serum you’ve always wanted,” she said at the launch.
Aside from kojic acid, the Super Serum also contains niacinamide, hyaluronic aci and Vitamin C. Dermatologist Coreen Sampedro says the four active ingredients offer “synergistic effects” that will help address a range of skin concerns to provide a “supercharged glow” in as fast as one day.
Chua searched online if there are any similar products, but she did not find any. “I think it’s just more fitting that, since we are the number one kojic acid soap here in the Philippines, we also launched the first kojic acid serum,” Chua said.
For modern lifestyle
The Tinted Sunscreen, meanwhile, is suitable to the modern Filipino lifestyle, says Chua. “It contains UVA and UVB filters that protect the skin from harmful sunlight. But what makes it unique is, it’s powered by ‘Radicare Technology.’ This skin care innovation acts as a shield from the damaging effects of blue light and radiation that comes from modern devices like mobile phones and WiFi, things that we are usually exposed to on a daily basis,” she explains.
It also has SPF 50 that celebrity makeup artist Ting Duque says everybody needs nowadays. Duque lent her expertise in a demonstration to show how the Tinted Sunscreen’s “True Tone Technology” adapts to all skin tones. “It also has a blurring effect, so you may also use this as a primer. I just discovered it yesterday!” she says.

The Kojie.san Super Serum and Tinted Sunscreen are available at all leading drugstores and beauty stores nationwide. Get the Super Serum for only P469 for a 30-ml pump bottle, and P129 for a 7.5 ml. sachet. The Tinted Sunscreen is available for P479 for a 50 g. tube, and P120 for a 7.5 g. sachet.
