In honor of National Sisters Day, we thought of six fashionable siblings who prove that whether or not you compliment or contrast each other, two is better than one.
#1 Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen
With these two, you have one formidable packaged duo. From the small screen to films like New York Minute, the fraternal twins conquered what they could together. Lest we forget how they have been successful as fashion designers, they’ve established the labels Elizabeth & James, (named after their siblings) and The Row plus recently won a citation from CFDA.
#2 Gigi and Bella Hadid
These two supermodels recently squared off in a V Magazine cover and are also part of that sibling-studded Balmain campaign. From playing around with designers to hamming it up in after-parties, they manage to shine in their own right without throwing shade at one another.
#3 Carla and Sam Humphries
Carla is developing into a more mature actress now that she’s past her Star Circle days and it couldn’t get any better. On the other hand, Sam is making her own name in the industry with modeling and commercial stints that hint that there’s something in the Humphries gene pool that mean not only great looks, but lots of talent, too.
#4 Poppy and Cara Delevingne
Cara won’t take your tone-deaf questions but she can beatbox on late night like no other as makes her way on the big screen via Paper Towns. While Poppy is more sophisticated and subdued being the Young Ambassador of the British Fashion Council. Still, we equally love them for what they bring to both fashion and entertainment as they both model for brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs.
#5 Pauline and Patricia Prieto
We recently spotted Pauline as the model of revolutionary undergarment brand Thinx, apparently actively pursuing her life as a signed model in New York. Meanwhile, Patricia gets the clicks through her blog, Paradigma where she serves up double-tap worthy #ootds and fashion reports. From east to west and from ads to online posts, these two got the fashion world covered.
#6 Liz and Laureen Uy
From Stylized to Break My Style, your outfit and beauty picks are inevitably influenced by either of these two fashionable sisters. Going from classic to eclectic, laid-back to fashion-forward, the seconds found in a day aren’t enough to keep up with these two.
