The two time University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Juniors Most Valuable Player vows to sacrifice and give it his all in order to get into the most popular basketball league in the world. Sotto believes that the right exposure and training will help get him in the NBA.
Months ago, the 16 year old standout was reported to have been offered by a number of European basketball clubs to suit up and play overseas. Where Sotto is headed exactly has not been determined but the Atenean mentioned that he aims to make it to the NBA by the year 2021 or 2022.
Sotto will leave the Philippines as the country’s top ranked basketball player and one of the best to ever play in the ADMU blue and white jersey. The road to getting into the NBA will be a long and tough one, but the wunderkind is wasting no time as he is ready for the next chapter of his life.
