If you need to live vicariously through someone else in hella unproductive times, it might be James Reid.
After starting his stint as the Department of Agriculture’s Food Security Ambassador and launching his urban farming brainchild The Freshest this year, the multi-hyphenate creative has added another item on his list of labels (literally).
On Instagram today, international label and artist management company Transparent Arts revealed that James Reid has joined their pack. “A warm welcome to @james, the newest addition to the @transparentfeed family,” they wrote.
In case it hasn’t crossed your TLs, Transparent Arts is a Los Angeles-based collective that gathers “the best of American and Asian entertainment business and applies it to [their] global platform.”

Among their artists are Dumbfounded, Tiffany Young of Girls’ Generation and Far East Movement, who also own the company. Their list of collaborators is pretty stellar, too: EXO, Akwafina and Bruno Mars, to name a few.
With Transparent Arts as the latest addition to James’ resume, can we expect more global reach for him? We hope so. NGL, our eyes are already peeled for possible collabs to come.
