Since we are likely to stay at home until the end of the year (or even beyond?!), many establishments from popular out-of-town destinations are doing their best to bring their products to us city dwellers.

The latest to so graciously bring the beach experience to us is Boracay fixture Sunny Side Group’s Spicebird, which is coming to Powerplant’s The Grid Food Market next week, Sept. 16.

Known for its grilled dishes, this D’Mall Plaza go-to eating spot is bringing its best-sellers including their piri-piri grilled pork and chicken skin dressed in piri-piri sauce (which goes well with the restaurant’s craft beer, by the way). All can be served with spiced or steamed rice. We just hope it is also customizable like in their original menu where you can even choose to add any (or all) of SpiceBird’s five sauces: piri-piri sauce, garlic and lime, curry curry, hotbird sauce, and their newest, sexy sauce no. 5.

Spicebird will be at Stall 14 and will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. But for dine-in skeptics, no need to worry, you can still order your favorite dishes for delivery by calling 0926-6553344 or The Grid hotline at 0917-7077459.
