Saturn is currently in retrograde in the sign of Pisces for the next four and a half months. If you’re not sure what that means, buckle up
Saturn retrograde is here, and if you’ve built your TikTok For You page brick by brick, you likely already know what that means. But if you’re curious and want to understand what the next few months have in store for you, it’s time to listen up.

Astronomically speaking, retrograde is basically when a planet looks like it’s going backwards in relation to its position to the Earth. But astrologically speaking, a retrograde period is a time of reflecting and taking stock of what’s going on. It can also feel disruptive because it’s when a planet looks like it’s going in the opposite direction of where it usually goes.
Saturn’s retrograde period this year is from June 29 to Nov. 15. The planet is associated with things like time, limitations, and boundaries. It also rules over things like discipline, commitment, and karma. And that last part is what a lot of TikTok astrologers are talking about.
According to many astrologers, it’s the time for reaping your rewards or facing the consequences of your actions. Either way, it’s a time of reckoning and really deciding what you want to do with your life.
You’ll also likely expect a few disruptions when it comes to your plans—as with any retrograde—but it’s going to be to a higher degree. Processes might get blurred, you might have to jump through more hoops, and things will probably be messy for a while; but it also gives you some time to reflect on how you want your life to actually look.
The planet will also be stationed in Pisces, which is the sign that’s all about emotional sensitivity, spirituality, and intuitiveness.
As with all astrological events, the severity will depend on what your signs are and what you’ve been doing the past few months. If you’ve been good to everyone and are actively working on being a good person, you’ll likely be sailing smoothly to November. But if you’ve been a brat (and not in the fun Charli XCX way), Saturn will likely have something major in store for you.
