In case you didn’t know, the “two handed card handling” is part of Japan’s meishi (business card) culture. According to Japan Talk, this is a serious matter among Japanese businessmen and “sends a strong message about who you are as a professional.” Blogger Tricia Gosingtian also pointed this out on Twitter.

This practice is also not limited in Japan. Several netizens shared that this is also taught in school, especially in business courses. They were also saddened and annoyed that Isabelle would want to do something so disrespectful.

Isabelle was previously criticized for making a joke about the children of Africa. She also posted a photo of the controversial Chinese communist hat that Georgina Wilson, Jess Wilson, and Martine Cajucom wore. So far, Martine posted an apology about the incident, saying it’s “from us.”
