Developed by San Francisco-based Mountaintop Studios, “Spectre Divide” is a 3v3 shooter game having elements and anime-like graphics similar to “Valorant” and “Counter-Strike” but with the unique addition of duality or having to control two bodies at the same time.

This duality feature allows players to defend and attack two sites at once, offering a platform to practice tactical competitive shooting through a thrilling match. Did we mention Shroud assisted the developers in making the game?

“Deadlock” on the other hand is a 6v6 third-person shooter game developed by Valve, which contains elements of hero shooter and the multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) genre.

The game, which currently has 21 different heroes, takes place in an alternate version of New York City, and has references to the occult and 1930s Prohibition era.

While “Spectre Divide” is available for free on the game distribution service Steam, “Deadlock” has been in playtesting since 2023 and has yet to be officially released.

Currently, the latter is being played through friend invites only using Steam’s playtesting functionality despite having numerous leaks since May 2024.

Despite this, both games are currently shaking the world of avid gamers due to the unique duality feature of “Spectre Divide” and how “Deadlock” combines FPS and MOBA in one game.
