Shouldn’t great-looking, smart and fun-loving young men who are single and ready to consider marriage and fatherhood be included in celebration of Father’s Day this Sunday?
Meet Gerard Sison, John James Uy, Edward Mendez and Paul Drake. Eyeball them today wearing the best imported casual wear from Rustan’s Makati. These four are super studs from the stable of star thoroughbreds of manager Jojie Dingcong (manager of Martin Nievera and Derek Ramsey).
“They have strong regal looks and come from good families,” said Dingcong during our shoot. “But it is their minds that I find sexy.”
These young “Papa-bles” picked out the men’s wear labels to fit their personalities. So feast your eyes on their masculine beauty, but more so, listen to how they answer the questions we sprang on them. You decide which one is husband material.
GERARD SISON
What would you do if you are president of this country?
If I were president of the Philippines, I would work hard to improve the public education system so that every Filipino would have equal opportunities to learn great things, especially the importance of value-offering business; and so that no child would be born with an educational disadvantage just because of the family he or she was born into. I think, in return, it would help our country flourish entrepreneurially. My message would be that a smart man can get a job and the even smarter man can create jobs.
JOHN JAMES UY
Favorite kinds of music, bands, songs?
I love old music, I think it’s timeless. I believe I had lived through the ’60s in a previous life and enjoyed the birth of raw classic rock. I love a few music acts today but they are definitely not pop, they are more of Indie and alternative rock. I love the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, The Clash, Phoenix, Amy Winehouse, Kings of Leon, Devendra Banhart, Tennis and the XX, just to name a few. What the radio feeds to our generation nowadays is not music, it’s just garbage

Can you share something about yourself that no one knows and that may find you a perfect match out there?
You would think you have an understanding of me. But when you get to know me you also tend to be blind-sided by the truth of what kind of person I really am, Never judge a book by its cover.
