That’s right ‘90s kids, our childhood prayers have been answered—finally.
“The Legends of the Hidden Temple” a.k.a. the best ‘90s show on Nickelodeon is making a comeback April next year. But this time, it’s only for adults.
The upcoming American mobile video platform Quibi is reviving the show, which is thought to have inspired the addictive mobile phone game “Temple Run.” The reboot is a reimagining full of twists and adult players—likely those who grew up watching it. “The entire set will be taken out of the studio, into a jungle and scaled up with tougher challenges and bigger prizes on the line,” executive producer Scott A. Stone said in an interview with E! News.
“Bringing back Legends for Quibi is a dream come true,” Stone added. “I have been so lucky to be part of this defining millennial show, and now there is a defining millennial platform to go with it. I couldn’t be more excited.”
The fan-favorite first aired in September 1993, ending in 1999 with a total of 120 episodes. It sounds like 2020 is going to be a good year for ‘90s kids.
