Miss Rona works hard, but Angel’s Burger’s makeshift slides work harder | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

To cope with the world’s shitty state, everyone’s favorite after-school hangout stepped up their game—and it’s none other than Angel’s Burger.

Before you guess, no, they didn’t hire some frantic robots to deliver bags of fresh buns to your doorstep or anything as impractical (and utterly impossible). On May 1, the budget burger kiosk announced the re-opening of two of their branches—Sto. Niño and Lamuan—in Marikina City. This isn’t a spur-of-the-moment decision, as these kiosks’ updated look proved they’ve prepared for the battle.

Aside from the protective plastic wrapped about the kiosk, Angel’s Burger also put up makeshift slides. This is to reduce physical contact when customers need to pay (left slide) and get their orders (right slide), following the protocols during this COVID-19 pandemic. We love a burger stand that’s concerned about both their employees and customers.

If you live in Marikina and happen to need a burger fix, you can drop by from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thanks for taking one for the team, Angel’s Burger.
