Brothers Burger offers flame-grilled beef on toasted oatmeal buns with fresh lettuce and tomatoes, and catsup and mayonnaise.

Bulgogi fest  at BonChon

 

BonChon Bulgogi Fest features the classic Korean dish of grilled marinated meat in three ways. Asian-style Beef Bulgogi Rice features premium beef and BonChon’s homemade bulgogi sauce, tossed with onions and leeks, served over rice. The fusion-inspired Beef Bulgogi Wrap is beef bulgogi, romaine lettuce and kimchi coleslaw in grilled flour tortilla.

 

The star of Bulgogi Fest is the new BonChon-style Crunchy Chicken Bulgogi Rice, a crispy chicken fillet cooked BonChon-style, tossed in the house recipe bulgogi sauce, onions, and leeks, then topped over hot rice.

New menu at InterCon’s Café Jeepney

 

InterContinental Manila’s Café Jeepney has a new a la carte menu. An initial order of at least P350 will entitle a diner to a 50-percent discount on his second order.

 

The new menu offers vegetarian selections, such as linguini with scallions, roasted garlic, basil pesto and toasted pine nuts; marinated grilled vegetable panini with buffalo milk cheese and French fried potatoes; and vegetable samosas with mango chutney and mint raita.

 

TomYum Goong (hot-and-sour soup with shrimp)

Other items are toasted whole meal club sandwich with smoked turkey, avocado, Lyoner sausage and salad with Cajun spiced corn chips; Angus beef burger in sesame toast bun with caramelized onions, bacon, fried egg, salad and cheese accompanied by fried potatoes; and the warm Dutch apple pie with cinnamon ice cream and vanilla sauce.

 

Kids 12 years and younger get to eat the lunch or dinner buffet for free when accompanied by two adults partaking of the buffet at regular price.

Peking Garden turns 17

 

Peking Garden, which serves northern Chinese cuisine from Hong Kong, is turning 17 years old.

These dishes are part of Casa Roces’ El Bulto del Casa, a special menu for bulk takeout orders.

 

Another anniversary treat is the Bar Chow featuring Spanish tapas, such as chicharones con tinapa or choritos mousse as well as classic dishes like traditional salpicao.

 

Also, ongoing until Sept. 30, loyal diners trying to brave the rains will be in for a treat. Rainy Day Comforts offer all-day servings of Pinoy favorites: Fried Suman con Mangga y Latik and Grilled Ensaymada con Jamon y Tsokolate.
