Oktoberfest is the largest beer festival in the world observed every mid or late September up until the first weekend in October in Munich, Germany. Our local version of this, however, has been around for over 80 years. This year this annual beer festivities from Oct. 17 to 19 will be hosted at the Tent in Solaire Resort and Casino.
And for those who religiously follow this celebration, Solaire has a treat for you. Until Aug. 31, festival-goers can avail of tickets at early bird special rates: P3,900 for Beergarden, P4,250 for Premium Beergarden B, P4,450 for Premium Beergarden A, and P7,430 for VIP Beergarden.
The 81st iteration of the three-day event also has a lot in store for beer fans, like authentic Bavarian beer from the world’s oldest brewery, Weihenstephan, which was founded in 1040. There will also be a wide selection of delicacies from pork knuckle, weisswurst, and homemade sausages to German bread.
The German Club Manila is also bringing the Bavarian Sound Express once again to provide entertainment to guests at the Oktoberfest.
