Carewell managing director Oliver Calasanz thanked the new partnership. “For every purchase of a Charriol Watch from Oct. 13-Nov. 12, across all 15 Charriol stores in the Philippines,” he explained, “an amount of P1,000 will be donated to the Carewell Community.”

Italian chocolatier Enrico Cattapan and his Filipino wife, Felinda Tupaz, jetted into town from Padova, Italy, with their sons, good-looking Stefano and Julio, to personally entertain the chocolate- and wine-loving guests of local partners, Vince Aldanese and his wife, Rhoda Campos.

Namedroppables included stunning Bea Zobel Jr.,  top designers Inno Sotto, Pepito Albert, Jojie Lloren and Dennis Lustico; and charity advocate Kaye Tinga, with her daughters Kylie and Kerry. They breezed in along with home accessories designer Andy Vazquez Prada, who came  with parents Maricris Sangroniz and Nando Vazquez Prada, dahlings.

Chocolate lovers who couldn’t get enough of the new Villa del Conte flavors were Resorts World’s Kingson Sian; Marriot Hotel PR Mitch Garcia; Rose and Tommy Tantoco; and Ria Francisco Prieto.

Since chocolate is a famille favorite, dahlings, also present were former foreign secretary Alberto Romulo and wife, Lovely Tecson, and daughters Mons and Lupe.

Arthur Tan, wife Janet and children Andrea and AJ, had a blast sampling the yummy chocolates. Society mainstay Jojo Ongsiako and daughter Ina also enjoyed the chocolates.

The Aldanases and Cattapans turned their deep friendship forged over chocolate to become business partners.  Paired with Rondini’s Montemanco Primitivo, the chocolate becomes much more than just a product pack, it is a gift of pleasure. Villa del Conte chocolates and the wine pairing make them a true gift of Christmas, palanggas.

Mmm, I always get my chocolate fix with Villa del Conte before I do my daily 7-8 km  power walk. Believe moi, it works
