DLSU, NBDB hold international literary festival | Lifestyle.INQ

The National Book Development Board (NBDB) and De La Salle University-Manila’s College of Liberal Arts and Department of Literature  will hold the international literary festival, “Text in the City:  Narrating Southeast Asia,”  on Nov. 12, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

 

This year, the NBDB has enlisted the cooperation of four universities in its annual international literary festival so as to better generate the participation of students in an event meant to increase the appreciation of the literary arts.

 

Participating are well-known Malaysia storyteller Kamini Ramachandran, noted Indonesian poet Sitok Srengenge, and Sri Lankan-British poet Jasmine Anne Cooray, as well as Filipino writers Michael Coroza, Angelo Rodriguez Lacuesta, Isagani R. Cruz, architect Augusto Villalon and John Andrew See.

 

The festival will have two simultaneous events: the Literary Festival at the Natividad Fajardo-Rosario Gonzales Auditorium, 18/F, Br. Andrew Gonzales Hall; and Teacher’s Workshop at Rooms E201-201, 2/F, Enrique Razon Hall.
