“KUNG Paano Ako Naging Leading Lady, The Musical,” written by Carlo Vergara based on his one-act play and graphic novel of the same title, is having a rerun. It is presented by Manila’s newest theater group, Dalanghita Productions, in cooperation with the Philippine Educational Theater Association.

Carol Colborn’s book on American Dream
In 2004, Carol Carreon surprised many and retired from a prominent management and executive career in the Philippines.
She migrated to the United States, took care of grandkids, taught at colleges and universities, and volunteered as a small business counselor. Then she met Bill Colborn, a businessman.
After their cruise ship wedding in 20008, they drove to 49 US states, nine Canadian provinces and six Mexican states in an RV. Since 2010, she has blogged about their travels. Three years ago, she started working with iUniverse, a US publishing company.
Colborn’s book, “Carolina: Cruising to an American Dream,” is a record of her travels. The back cover says Carol Colborn “offers fascinating facts about irresistible places, surprising insights about unique encounters, and useful guides borne out of their experience… discovering America from within the cozy confines of an RV with lessons that came as fast as scenes changed. She not only learned how to be a wife without losing her identity and to be an American without losing her roots.”
The book was launched at Fully Booked in Bonifacio Global City last June 27.
